My real name is Elin Carlson, & I’m a professional singer. You can see more about that here on my website.
I’ve been geocaching since Memorial Day weekend, 2004, and have found over 3,000 caches each year since! It’s still fun and fascinating! You can link to my geocaching profile by clicking on my stat bar to the right to see my milestones and the states and countries in which I’ve found caches.
I use a Garmin Geko 201 (my second one, since I wore one out!) and a Garmin Map60CSX (courtesy f0t0m0m), and CacheMate on my Palm Treo 755. I have Mac computers with MacCaching and MacGPSConnect for uploads. I also use the cool nav system in my Toyota Prius.
Thank you very much for the very nice compliment about my blogs. I took your suggestion and added the email subscription which is all ready for public consumption. Have a great one, you have some very pretty terrain out there to go caching in would love to hear more about what you encounter in contrast to what we have here in North Carolina.
Type at you soon,
HHH
I’m having a great time looking at all of the photos. You’ve been to some of the same spots that I’ve visited in the past…Alas, it was prior to my recent discovery of Geocaching. I spend a total of seven years in 29 Palms, and I kick myself now over the large amount of caches in the JT Monument, and surrounding areas.
I look forward to your next post!
Looks like the pretty singing lady knows how to pick’em. Cookie is first out of the gate with a baby bird flight of 12 miles.. Congrats. It they keep taking a taste every time they move it wont last very long…. Won’t the chocolate melt in the sun out there? Gooey Travel Bug Hands, ewwwwww.
I’m in! I may not be as nimble as I once was, but I can follow one of the best on her adventures. Go, girl, go!!!
